There was much brouhaha about 11.11.11 though there didn't seem to be anything likely special about it. But! Para sa aking friends na sina Dimples and Deo, it was extremely special as it was their wedding day. They have been together for years, they already have a son even, pero syempre exciting pa din ang thought na they'll be wed at a church. Ibang pasabog yun e! May sumpaan na, big time gastos pa :)
So, despite the scorching heat, I donned my uber weather inappropriate outfit (and applied extra deodorant) and went to St. John parsih in Taytay. Kita kits ang mga beks. After much chikahan and arm straining fanning - Dimples made her entrance. Naiyak si Baby Faye (ako din naiyak, ganda ng entrance ni Dimples e)
The ceremony was quick - which we were all happy about kasi exxag ang init. Dapat may medic e dahil montik na kaming himatayin.

Reception followed at Sweet Harmony, still in Taytay. The setting was perfect though the weather was still sweltering. Special guest ata si Jinit Jackson!
We ate so much (okay, kami lang ni Carl) Pasabog kami sa desserts. Sulit na sulit.
I ate about 8 servings of dessert and a big bowl of fruit salad :)

I had this pin with the Commes des Garcons heart custom made. I like how the word custom makes it sound expensive e chipapey lang to! 50 lang! :) BTW, I didn't exactly love my outfit, my cardigan was a bit loose. Medium na yan loose pa din - ako na!

Went home after. I was super tired but super happy. Weddings make me happy, but not as happy as the food and the desserts do! At may bumulaga pa sa akin pag dating ko sa bahay. Left over pancit malabon, which my lola from Navotas made. She makes the best pancit in the entire world!
I love pancit malabon so much, I once ate it kahit alam kong panis na. Seriously, cross my heart I did! Yan nga medyo may amoy na pero go pa din ako sa pagkain! That's how much I love it haha. Matibay naman sikmura ko, sing tibay ng mukha ko haha :)Well that's all! Just wanted to share this special event. I hope you had a great and remarkable 11.11.11 too! Mwahs!

Hi Zai! Inggit naman ako sa dessert! I love dessert so much pero bawal na ngayon, my history kasi kami ng diabetes, habang maaga binawasan ko na ang sweets baka kasi maging diabetic ako mahirap na.
Perfect 'yung date nung wedding nila! Ang daling tandaan. 11.11.11 haha
parang last time lang me post din ako ng wedding.hahaha talo kita ikaw 8 servings lang ng dessert, ako dose-dosena ata ang kinain ko dun eh, kaya pag uwi ko laki ng tyan ko sobra wahaha.. anyway, Im not in wedding,kaya nga madalas nagpapalate ako para sa reception na agad.WAHAHAHAHA
havent been to a wedding yet.. mukhang maganda pumunta sa ganun ahh.. kaso yun nga lang, mainit talaga.. though pag umulan, swerte daw ang meaning, malamig nga, pero masisira naman ang outfit.. hehe...
mahilig din ako sa pancit malabon.. may nagbebenta ng ganyan sa amin, pero pag nakakain na ako, parang nabubusog kaagad ako, tapos parang inde na ako makakain ulit.. hehe.. ewan ko kung bakit..
