A few hours to go and byebye to 2011 and hello 2012! How are your preparations for New Year? Ako eto, nag general cleaning mag isa tuloy nagka allergies. Sobrang kati, di ko matiis di makamot. Ganto siguro feeling ng mga makakati, now I know (pak may talak!) Eto pinichuran ko ng makita nyo. Wag bewang ko tignan nyo ha, yung rash. Tapos pwede ng tignan ang bewang. Body double ako ni Beyonce :)
Sina Papa at Ge naman ang nag pre-prepare ng food. Maya maya pala mag luluto ako ulit ng spaghetti. Patok sya nung Christmas e. Pag may sumobra, papakain ko sa mga estudyante. Pag panis na at nasira tyan nila, e di sorry!
Dinalaw ko nga pala si Marseng Joanne last Thursday. May bulutong kasi sya at nagkaroon pa ng tagulabay. Di nyo alam yun no? Ako din e, mama lang ata ni Joanne may alam nun. Play time kami ng pamangkin nyang si Jaydrex na super cute. Montik ko na syang lagay sa bag ko, kasya naman sya e :) Ayan ang pic namin, kala mo Joanne naka lusot ka no! Haha :)
Andun din ang ate ni Jaydrex na si ChinChin. Nahawala sya sa bulutong at mas harsh ang sa kanya. Malapitin ako ng kids pero exception si ChinChin. Either hindi na sya bata o may something sa kanya. Dahil dyan di kami naglaro, pinag tripan ko lang sya ng very mild.
Pero nagpa pic o! :)Nagulat ako ng ito na ang pinuntahan naming bahay. Nasira na pala ang ancestral house..ang sad! Pero okay na, mas comfy naman dito. Haha umarte pa sa ancestral. Anyways, hindi pala lahat ng pinsan ko kasama. Anuber kala ko grand reunion!

Nang nag datingan na ang mga far away relatives, aba nahiya kami bigla. Kasi ang tagal na naming di sila nakita, syempre medyo akward. Escape kami at tambay sa instant naging suking sari sari store.

Tapos ng eksena, nag fireworks display na. Hapong tapat nag fireworks, define excited! :) Nabingi ako dyan sa sinturon ni keme, ang haba. 30 minutes ata nag pupu-putok.
Ang sama ng shirt ng pinsan ko. Makapang mata ng trabaho!
BTW wala si Mama, kinailangan maiwan dahil may mga magbabayad daw sa kanya ng utang. Bumbay pala si Mama.
Uwian time came at last. Medyo bored na kasi kami. We stopped over at Razon'sand had halohalo! It was super delish, I had two servings. Diet yan, kung hindi naka 4 sana ako :)

At ayan, ilang ariba at gulong gulong, home sweet home na. It was fun being with family, kahit di ko naman naka chika, at least nakita nila ako di ba? Haha :) In other news, thank you sa mga nagbigay sa akin ng gifts! Latest kong natangap ay ang latest book ni Bob Ong, given by my brother Ge. The book is okay, I love the concept and what Bob Ong was trying to imply, though I think the humor was too stretched out throughout the whole book that it became rather repetitive and thin. It was enough to make me say 'okay, I get it' O napa English bigla. It was a fun read though, may funny moments pa din syempre. I love how it was made to look like a typical Tagalog romance novel :)
In a bit of sad news naman, my dear cousin Hannah Peng was diagnosed with glaucoma. They won't be able to visit us here and we haven't made any plans to visit them yet. I pray she'll be well, I did some research and found that advance stages of glaucoma could lead to blindness :(( I'm sure we'll do everything not for that to happen.And in extremely sad news! One of my high school friends, who was also my fellow officer in CAT - Joy Arellano was killed recently in Aparri. She was raped then killed. I was in shock upon hearing about what happened to her, no one deserves to die in such a way. Dinalaw pa ako ni Joy last month as she was studying again in a school near our home. I hope justice will be served, and the Jo's soul find eternal peace. We will all miss you! :((
Ayan..naiyak naman ako. May pasok ako later pero mag ha-half day ako ng mawelcome ko naman ang new year with the family. I hope you get to welcome New Year with yours too, or with whoever is special to you. Let's all be happy! 2011 was so-so for me, but I know I'm blessed as I am well, my family is complete and healthy and I have such good friends who never leave me. Thank you Jesus!
