Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Eksena bigla ang Chinese New Year sa atin, e nung bata (mas bata) pa ako, e parang deadma lang. Ngayon lumevel up na, holiday pa sya. Ang saya lang na though most of us, me especially, are hardly Chinese, or even part Chinese, ay nakiki celebrate tayo sa kanila. Ako Chinese lang ako pag bagong gising, chinita kasi sabay bati ng "Ni Hao mga kapamilya, ang nakaraan sa My Binondo Girl"
Somehow I'm excited na pumasok na ang year of the water dragon. Lucky daw kasi ako this year, as I was born on the year of the rooster. Sana nga! Fingers crossed! Lucky daw ako sa career, sa money at sa lovelife. Ako na! Baka this year ma-meet at ma-attract ko na ang aking peacock :)
Though the Chinese zodiac might say certain people who were born on certain years, aren't too lucky this year, let's not take it all too seriously. We need to remember that with prayers and faith in God, a clean heart and a positive outlook, we can over come anything, and we can of course attract nothing but positivity.
Minsan wala sa swerte swerte yan, nasa tao lang talaga. Pero ako swerte ako this year okay?! Ang sumungay, mamalasin! :)
Ayan, kagabi, I got to meet another blogger friend! From SG na naman, kaya ako na ata ang unofficial taga salubong sa bloggers from other countries. Ayaw nya magpa reveal ng identity, ni picture wala. Pero kailangan nyong maniwala na totoo sya, hindi sya imaginary. Kasi totoo sya! Haha. Anyways, trineat nya ako ng dinner sa Dencio's at Rockwell. 2nd time ko pa lang maka gora ng Rockwell, believe it or not, ung first time is way back in college, isa syang stop nung field trip namin. Very promdi ang peg no? :)
Anyways, since ayaw nya mag pa-picture, food na lang ang kinunan ko. This is what we had - the ever famous sisig of Dencio's, Bahay Kubo gulay and the sinigang na litson - quite a nice twist :) Pa sweet ako, 2 rice lang! Haha :)
We then watched Underworld Awakening. It was an okay movie, though I'm not so into movies that are too dark and where you can't even count how many people get killed #marahas! But I really like Kate Beckinsale so okay na din. After ng movie, pina-try ko kay blogger friend ang red Tanduay Ice at Marty's at natuwa naman sya. Very good ako sa pagiging bad influence. Sinalubong naman ang Chinese New Year watching fireworks sa Makati Ave. Nice! After noon, ako ay umalis na at may pasok pa. To dear blogger friend, thank you again! See you soon! :)
May pasalubong pa pala sa akin si June na galing naman sa celebrations sa Banchetto. Cheesecake! I love this, makaka-kain ako kahit 20 na ganito, swear.
O ayan lang naman ang ganap, puro katakawan, but of course I got to meet another friend. This coming Friday ay may luwas naman kaming office friends, pupunta kami ng MOA para mag videoke, sumakay sa MOA Eye at mag cruise! So excited, handa na outfit ko :)Kung Hei Fat Choi again everyone, may we all have a blessed year, filled with great and fun experiences to blog about. I love you all! :)
